I grew up in Creston, Iowa and graduated from Iowa State University with degrees in Accounting &
Finance. I began my career in Ernst
& Young’s tax department, but transferred to their audit practice prior to my
departure in 2006. I then accepted a
position as an accountant with one of
Iowa’s premier full service real estate companies.
I was able to get exposure to the private sector of the accounting
industry in this role.
In 2009, I decided to leverage my technical background and
relationships I have built up over the years and become an Accounting & Finance
Recruiter at Executive Resources. As
you can imagine, I’m not your hard-core salesman; my relationships have always
been built on trust and integrity.
My goal is to inform the candidates so they can make educated decisions about
whether they would like to work for my clients.
On a personal note, I am married to my lovely wife Jacque.
She stays at home to raise our two children, Brooklyn & Hudson.
I enjoy every moment I am able to spend with them, while trying to sneak
in a round of golf occasionally.

I grew up in the Des Moines
area and graduated from Iowa
State
University
with my degree in Education. Upon
graduation I was offered a position to work for Executive Resources as a
Recruiter and spent nine years with the company working as a Senior Recruiter in
the Office Support division. In
2001, I was contacted by a client to work as an in-house recruiter in their
Human Resources department and spent two years there before the recruiting
industry was calling me again. The
next six years I operated my own recruiting firm, working with a few select
clients and raising my family. In 2009,
I rejoined the Executive Resources team and specialize, once again, in
Insurance, Office Support, Accounting, and Human Resources positions.
As you can see, recruiting is in my blood.
I enjoy meeting new people on a daily basis and building lasting
relationships with both clients and candidates.
The best reward is calling in to a company and finding the person I
placed there seventeen years ago in an entry-level position, is now working in
one of the top positions in the organization.
On a personal note, I have been married to a wonderful guy
for the past nineteen years and have one son and one daughter.
In my spare time, you can find me sitting in the bleachers somewhere
cheering on my kids in one of their many sporting events or socializing with
friends.
